**UPDATE: al-IRAQIYA TELEVISION VIDEO OF SADDAM EXECUTION AT BOTTOM OF THIS POST**
This is unbelievable ! I have watched Anderson Cooper on CNN twice in the last hour explain to viewers that they will use all means possible to not shock their audience with gruesome execution video of Saddam Hussein. CNN has the audacity to say this while simultaneously showing file footage of the dead bodies of gassed Kurds.
CNN is responsible for showing terrorist propaganda video from Iraqi insurgents of snipers killing U.S. Soldiers — No moral claim here! To further this hypocrisy they also have this stuff available for viewing at their “CNN On Demand” web site!

Courtesy: Michel Malkin
CNN is broadcasting for the enemy directly into American homes. Anderson Cooper even had the gall to state to the Iraqi Deputy Ambassador to the U.N. that his government was a “puppet government” set up by the United States. Earlier commentator Jon Alterman said that the trial and execution of Saddam was entirely run by the U.S. Military and the Bush administration! Outrageous!
Someone please fire a missile down the air-shaft of the CNN headquarters in Atlanta right now and stop “Baghdad Cooper” once and for all!

This is why, whenever that particular “news” organization is on the air, I change the channel. Or go outside and smoke. Or something. The Crescent News Network has never been my fave, ahem. But, hell, Fox is getting pretty shaky most of the time now. It’s getting absolutely ludicrous to find other than msm crap anywhere.

Anderson Cooper,I don’t even know what he looks like, quit watching that garbage Station years ago.Every one who gets his or her news from these people, deserves the misinformation they get.
Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 10:31 am
Well, this is obviously because CNN grieves the loss of Saddam and revels in the deaths of the U.S. soldiers. I mean, that’s clearly the only reasonable explanation to be drawn here.

I started to comment on your post but since my comment was pretty long I decided to cut and paste it over to fill a post for my (attempt at a) blog for today. Check it out if you’d like.

Though I’m glad Hussein is gone - along with Augusto Pinochet, another war criminal -this is still “porn torture” at the very least. They’re not going to show this video directly, but the right-wing blogs will link to it over and over again. Hussein’s sons were shown dead on TV, and you know the father has plenty of history with Donald Rumsfeld and Bush the Elder.

” and you know the father has plenty of history with Donald Rumsfeld and Bush the Elder”…
Very true. I suspect now we will find someway to get out of Iraq since the real mission has been accomplished.
Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 9:25 pm
Exactly… since Saddam was the one that blew up the World Trade Center, right? So, Mission Accomplished, and don’t let the door hit you on the ass on your way out of Iraq!

Seriously, Bush is such a fucking jackass. No justice here. I’m against death pemnalty fucking illiterate texan
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 9:14 am
Go BUSH! At least he has the balls to fight extremism and injustice even if he’s not perfect. I’d like to see any of you do the same. Are you perfect?? NO!!! So stfu and go help your brothers and sisters in IRAQ and around the world. Or you can sit on your ass and bitch and whine all day. Do you not see the threat posed by women beating, religious zealot muslims? Open your eyes and taste the blood before you are next!!!!

The execution of saddam was a complete shambles. Here in the U.K. executions were carried out quickly and without cameras! They took seconds thanks to the extraordinary competance of British hangmen. Saddam’s was a legacy of brutality and barbarism. If he had to die, as i believe he did then, it says more for those of us who claim to be civilized to have sent him on his way quickly, quietly and without the circus. He is facing a higher and sterner judgment than any of us could hope to bestow!
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 9:49 am
and for the record. CNN did in fact play a discretionary warning while they played the “propaganda video” Of Iraqi Snipers. And yes they did in fact state that is was a propaganda video made by insergents. But i can tell that none of you actually watched the video. Because at no time did they show any soldiers face, or them actually being shot. But thanks for playing.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 9:54 am
Go Bush?!? WTF? The dumb bastard has caused too many deaths of our own soldiers and the deaths of too many innocent Iraqi’s. Last time I checked this is not OUR war, yet the commander in chief of f-up’s is forever yelling “we will win this war”…. a war that WE started for NO reason other than his desire to avenge his father’s failure the first go round with Hussein. Puhleeze… this is the kind of man you vote for? When’s the last time he actually mentioned the REAL threat against America? You know, Osama Bin Laden, the one actually responsible for crimes against the USA. That’s OUR war yet near to nothing is being done about him. Go Bush…. straight to hell.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 9:56 am
Wow, the ignorance some of those comments show and how misinformed they are is just pathetic. You’d think being an American Citizen you would want to know more factual information than just what you see on CNN. No one person or groups of people will shut CNN down, so you can stop holding your breath now. However, there are many good news sources online now a days, and did you really think there wasn’t going to be a leak of the execution on the net? If so, you’re wrong. Research more and you’ll always find answers. Calling Bush a jackass is incredibely juvenile. Back it up with some intelligent opinions and maybe more polititians would be taking the average citizen more seriously.

USA is Gonna face real trouble in future!
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 10:04 am
According to Mr. Angel, we should all “Open [our] eyes and taste the blood before [we] are next!!!”
Considering the way this president has consolidated power, treated civil liberties and accused everyone not named Bush or Cheney of being disloyal and unpatriotic (not to mention just plain stupid), maybe we SHOULD worry about being “next”. Unfortunatly, the larger threat comes from our OWN ethnocentric zealots.
(Love all those EXCLAMATION POINTS !!!! and CAPITAL LETTERS, not to mention the mixed metaphors.)

Wow, I love the anti-american Liberal speek going on here. Not really! That was some sarcasm at it’s finest. Truly (truly.equal) and Garbage (Garbage bush) people like you make me sick to my stomach. Typical Left Wing twisting of the truth. Our government never said Hussein was responsible, I believe they said Bin Laden and the Taliban that supported him, and just for your poor memory the leader of the 9/11 attacks was an Iraqi Republican Guard and Iraqi Intel Officer. Just the facts. Secondly, Bush is our elected leader, elected by a majority of our population to serve our best interests, and he has done a fine job, I notice that your Liberal Media doesn’t say a word about our economy right now, it is doing wonderful. It is so typical for Left Wingers to rant about the government that they elected instead of spreading their cause enough to get things done on any level. Liberals are all talk and no action when it comes to every aspect of government. Lastly, I would like to comment on the death penalty, I Love It. What you folks (Democrats) really stand for is redistributing the wealth to those who haven’t worked for it. Pathetic.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 10:09 am
Just to see this pathetic figure arriving at the gallows is quite disturbing. I know as much as anyone how evil this man was. I have taken part in the military efforts to kick him out of powre. But nothing is as barbaric as supposedly civilised human beings condoning and participating in the cold-blooded killing of another. It’s a quick solution by the US Government to dealing with this guy that they wish had been killed when they found him cowering in a hole. The death penalty is truly barbaric.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 10:15 am
Most of the US media shields the US public from what is really going on. They all wanted this, so why can they not look at it? Show your children what adults do to one another, what a great world we live in, one ignorant person didn’t even know that hanging still took place!!
My family aren’t safe while two of the greatest dictators are still on the loose committing attrocities in the name of democracy, justice and freedom. I refer of course to Blair and Bush.
I’m not denying that Saddam Hussein was guilty of many terrible crimes, but what makes him so different from Blair and Bush? Nothing!! They lie and cover-up their crimes, shield their people from the truth and get away with anything because people are too ignorant, stupid or afraid to stand up to them.
What a great New Year for our children.

I am amazed at the total lack of anything above this post (with the exception of mine) making any sense at all. Bush Asshole, that is a lot of zeros (people killed), and J.R. Tracy what are you talking about. Name one civil liberty you have even remotely lost since Bush took power, he has not consolidated any power over the U.S. population only his ability to get things done faster, so a repeat of the whole Clinton era mistake, of not taking out Bin Laden when he had the chance. The only real consolidation of power he COULD take is implementing the WAR POWERS ACT and instituting a Declaration of War, which by the way has not happened since 1941. Your elected Congress called for the War on Terror and all but 2 or 3 people disagreed with it, Democrats included. lastly, I have not heard Bush or Cheney accuse anyone of being unpatriotic, although I will gladly accuse you of it right now. Get your facts straight and make some sense and do some research before you assume what it is you are hearing is the truth. Liberal media doesn’t neccesarily lie, they just tell half truth’s about everything.

As a Canadian I watch the US in quite bewilderment.
Four years ago almost everyone agreed to go into Iraq and take out Saddam. When the going got tough the tide shifted to the blame game. Does everyone forget that Saddam was lobbing missiles into Israel, torching Kuwait, warring with Iran, gasing his own people and ‘making claim that he had nukes’.
Does everyone forget that he broke almost 20 UN resolutions? He had all the time in the world to stop doing what he was doing and end his inevitable demise.
How long do you think it would have been before he got his hands on some real serious weapons?
As Americans in an odd way you should be happy that you can degrade your president in such a childish manner… I guess it makes you feel better. If you were in Iraq during Saddam’s time, you would have been thrown off a roof with a sack over your head, beaten and electrocuted or chopped up in little pieces and shipped off to your significant other.
I watched on television as some people tried to tell the US people that there were no weapons of mass destruction and as a nation you shut these people down.
For such a great and powerful nation there sure seems to be a lot of whiners down there!
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 10:34 am
*
George W. Bush, in his unprovoked attack against the sovereign nation of Iraq, openly violated the UN Charter, to which the US is a signatory. The Charter’s core principles contained in Article 2(4) and Article 51 prohibit one nation from attacking another except in self-defense or with the authority of the U.N. In effect, George Bush launched an unlawful use of force against persons and property.
*
The invasion launched by George W. Bush was heralded by the most frightening and powerful use of force and military violence in recent history. His Shock and Awe bombardment of Baghdad was designed to intimidate and coerce the government as well as the civilian population of that nation to change its existing leadership. That, in itself, was a political objective.
*
The purpose of the invasion and ensuing occupation of Iraq was to replace the existing dictatorship with an American-backed form of democracy that would not permit the emergence of a government headed by the majority Shia religious leadership. These motives were unquestionably political and social.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 10:37 am
The war is worse than terrorism. If we are going to worry about something, we need to worry more about the prospect that a bunch of fools in Washington may be too ignorant to see that they are personally responsible for harming more Americans than Osama Bin Laden himself, and that their complicity in the continuation of this war poses a greater threat to the security of the American people than terrorism does.

It is amazing how our media outlets create a whole new reality for liberals to live in. Has anyone hear seen the movie “Wag the Dog,” that is what most of the media in this country does now, they don’t report evenly, FOX News did at one time but they are slipping, the entire media outlet has become a political war in Newspapers and TV, period. I have spent time in the Middle East (Afganistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Isreal, Kuwait and a number of other smaller countries and I can report to you, that CNN, MSNBC, and all the Networks NBC, ABC, CBS DO NOT report the TRUTH, only half truths. It is very sad that they have taken CONTROL of you, the Liberals, in this country. You should not fear our ELECTED government, but you should fear the stations you watch, the papers you read and the sewing circle of half truths passed from one person to another. They are using you to create a hatred for the government and Republicna views, period. I have travelled, fought and seen my brothers die in defense of freedom. If you knew the scale and magnitude of the force we have applied to keep this country safe you would be amazed and grateful to people like George Bush, and the many other people who have taken Proactive action to thwart the advance of Terrorists, their organizations and most importantly DIRECT ACTION against our people.
I have news for you, we have taken the WAR to them, on their TURF and on OUR TERMS, that is a Win all by itself. That is why Republicans are happy with the progress Bush and the Congress has made over the last five + years. We have won, there is no way to deny it. No more attacks here, no more U.S. civilians killed (on U.S. soil). Let me break it down for you. We have lost 3,000 troops in this conflict, the Iraqi Police have lost over 12,000 in the last three years. We are winning, the only real issue at hand isn’t winning or losing, because we have won, but hwo long do we help them police their own country, not very much longer I hope, because as far as I am concerned we are done there!

Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 10:57 am
First off, Jessica, we did attack Afganistan and Iraq in defense of our nation, and even though the Intel sucked on Iraq, I didn’t hear the UN whining about our supposed illegalinvasion into Iraq, and here’s why, Iraq ignored 20+ Resolutions and spit in the face of the UN, UN leader and his brother (Kofi Annan) were enbroiled in the Oil for Food scandel, and although the resolution allowing for direct action against them was not put through, all were in agreement on the subject without voting, if the UN did not agree with our actions they would have filed a Resolution to attempt to stop us, and they did not, they didn’t even try. Here’s why, they know they would have created a rift that would have been unreppairable and would have eventually led to the US leaving the UN, (The UN isn’t very popular with the US people these days) and we support the UN financially, militarily and politically. Lastly, how many nations joined forces with us when the whole thing started, a lot. You are going to tell me that the French went to afganistan because Bush told them to, I don’t think so. Let me tell you something, there are a great majority of countries in the world that fully support what we are doing, and they have sent troops to assist, to this day, although you never hear that on Liberal Media Outlets. France(arguably the most anti-war country around), Germany, England, the Dutch, Isreali, Australia, Pakistani, Indian, Ethiopian, Canadian, ect. ect. and most of those countries are still fighting in the Middle East next to our Brothers.

The fall of america will be the fault of the ultra liberal left anti-americans, I can see it now, they have already taken over much of the power of the US.
Once those liberals let every single illegal alian in, there will be more than enough terrorists to take over our country and the ultra liberals will join them and execute any political opponents.
Trust me, if our nation keeps on going farther to the left, our nation will fall like rome!
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 11:18 am
As i was reading, I saw that there was a fair bit of disagreement in regards to CNN’s political stance. I think that although CNN, might be, “bringing the enemy into our homes.” they do it with enough discretion to flip the message in such a way that the people of the US will extract an entirely different meaning then that of which a Middle Eastern person would. I am not taking sides here, just I am trying to act as a median between the two main arguments presented here. I respect CNN’s desire to report the truth, but maybe if they are governmentally controlled has anyone ever considered that just maybe they are trying to scare us? The entire US population has been brought up to fear the terrorist with good reason, but does that mean that we should also use that fear to fuel the quest for oil? Or the destruction of a country just because we don’t like how they think? I think that the next time we decide to venture into a war, we should first take a step backwards and think, “what are we fighting for?” or maybe more importantly,”who are we fighting for?”
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 11:34 am
I agree with Marcus, although some of your ideas are a little distorted. First off, I think that because of your reluctance to, ” take a side.” I must say it is hard to see from where you are coming from. I can also see, that you must be in very high regards with Bush. (sarcasm) The question, “who are we fighting for?” I think can be answered pretty easily. When the idea of going into Iraq was first proposed, much of the senate and congress was behind the idea, and because they are our elected officials, dont they represent the people? The soldiers in our armies never join because they want to fight in the name of one person, or one company, but for our nation as a whole, for the people back home. That is the main reason why I must agree with you, because the missuses of our military will eventually tear this country apart. The rest of the world, will not stand by for long as the US decides to invade country after country, in hopes of increasing its own economic wealth. I end with my own image of the US, a hungry fire, devouring everything it can in order to stay alive what the people of the US cannot realize is that maybe just like the ancient civilization of Rome, is that they are consuming themselves and that eventually given the way that the present leader of the US is leading his country, the US will not be a superpower for much longer.

fuck bush. saddam was president when he did those crimes. saddam was not judged corectly. if saddam was suposed to die he should be killed after a fair trial not for the death of 150 people but for the death of 10000 or more. bush killed saddam quicly because bush planed to begin 2007 without saddam.
bush killed more people then saddam.
bush stold irak oil
bush should be in saddam place.

No… the liberal media doesn’t lie they simply tell part of the story. True journalism should tell the whole story.
I remember in grade school, the 5 W’s. Lately the media has forgotten these……..
Happy New Year all and it is great to live in America!
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 12:12 pm
arnett,
You are a dumb, angry American. Why aren’t you in Iraq, hero? Other priorities?
Next to his parents, who spawned the monster, George W. Bush is the worst human on earth and you voted for him. Way to go.
Did I mention you are dumb?
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 12:13 pm
Wow has hit the nail on the head. We The People need to educate the rest of the public on the realities of the world around us. He is exaclty right, the ultra Left will ruin this country if the rest of the population doesn’t begin to see the world and the Liberal views for what they are. Pathetic.
I had a political science professor put it best, he said,
“The Republicans want you do do things for youself and not rely on the Government, while Democrats want the Government to provide everything for you, at the expense of the rest of the population.”
This is the best explanation of the differing opinions between the Left and Right. The Left falls on it’s face becasue providing services and money for the non-working (welfare-baby style) family has to come from somewhere and it comes right from our own pockets in the form of taxes. More services equals more taxes, and I do not support government programs that promote laziness and futher the inefficiency of those style families. Why should I pay for someone elses problems or bad decisions. I refuse to and that is what makes me dispise the Liberal way of life.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 12:16 pm
To those of you who cannot seem to make any comment without fowl language and name-calling…do you really believe that this makes you more credible? Quite the contrary. It only emphasizes your inability to engage in intelligent dialogue using real facts and thoughtful commentary, therefore rendering your remarks absurd and of no value. Kudos to those of you who are actually using the brain God gave you. Have you noticed that the fowl, unintelligible remarks almost always come from the “haters”, usually “Bush haters”. and contain nothing worth reading. I would have to surmise that this venue does give them a chance to spew their hatred along with their expletives without actually hurting someone. Maybe that’s a good thing. God bless America!

Wow. Spelling and grammar must have gone out with the age of chivalry and reason.
If you must rant please do it with a margin of intelligence. Banging out an angry retort like the crap above makes you look like an idiot and I will immediately dismiss you opinion. For god’s sake, if you can’t master the simple art of writing intelligently how can you possibly be smart enough to hold a view on world politics.
The fact of the matter is President Bush was fairly elected……. Has he done the best job? Who knows. We can sit and second guess all we want. I’m not in the oval office and neither is anyone else. Let him do the job as he sees fit. History will tell if it’s good or bad.
Did Saddam deserve to be hung? I say yes. That being the case I agree with Clarky U.K. Carry it out quickly and quietly.
No need for anyone to broadcast a video of an execution. There is no conceivable way that two and a half minutes of crap could in any way enrich you life……….

wow how could u enjoy this video i think it is wrong to kill some 1 for something they did not commit …. the only reason saddan hussein killed 148 people is because they were gnna kill him first .. and i think goerge bush is an ass whole who only thinks bout him self and his family and he is a daddys boys .. well guess wat one day the world will noe the truth the only reason george bush killed saddam is becuz of them stupid jews and the oil crisis he is in.. well let me tell all of u something the day tht geroge bush dies will be the day tht the whole arab nation will stand up as one and will live their lives with out fear with out fearing bomb crashing threw their home with out fearing his shity ass soilders…but when he dies all of us arabs will have the biggest party america has ever seen …….. and one more thing i cant belive u guys always believe the news and wat u hear .. we all noe mostly everything we hear on the news is yellow journalism

LOL. I saw better movies on ogrish.com snipe shots ;). That’s the fake movie. Show his neck, show his broken, purple neck! Is it the best shot of most important moment in XXI age? Why quality of this movie is so bad? Kids making parkout movies show better quality with they amatore cameras. Why they cover his neck like a baby’s ass, cover from the scrach. Is he dictator who killed tousands of people? What’s this? LOL
There is no democracy, there is no freedom in the free world, there is only BIG HOAX of reality of free world living.

I have to say, as a US soldier, I found it APPALING that we weren’t given the satisfaction of seeing this bastard hang. I had to search for a video, and found a crappy one…and the sense of “ease” that I felt upon seeing it was amazing. Yes, I am sad that a “life” (if you can call it that) was ended—so smoothly. WIth all the evil that this man did, we should have tortured him to death.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 1:54 pm
Hey “Garbage Bush Says”…before you make fun of someones illiteracy…make sure you can spell, ok??? Ha ha ha…thanks for my laugh of the day!
Here is your quote: “pemnalty fucking illiterate texan”
What is a “Pemnalty”…and shouldn’t “texan” be capitalized? Texan??? ha ha ha…thanks again!

I like Red, White and Blue’s comment, very thoughtful and to the point. I am in total agreement, regardless of political views. The ability to put your thoughts into legible words is very important.
Canuck, I don’t understand your hatred towards me, and your comment about me being a Hero is displaced as well. I am not a Hero I am an American who is proud of his Country and his fellow Americans all over the World. I take perosnal offense to the allegations that I am Dumb, I have only commented on things I have experienced and seen first hand through the last 12 of 30 years of my life. I am not angry at all, and I am not in Iraq because I am no longer in the Military. I have given many years to that cause and now I am Self Employed with a great future in the private sector. The difference between you and I is that I still support my troops even though I am not standing next to them in the field anymore. There is no Hate coming from me, just a bewilderment that soooooo many people can be misguided by Liberal Schooling and Media. The brainwashing doesn’t come from the Government, it comes from privately owned Liberal Media that the Government cannot regulate because it would infringe on civil liberties. I just wish that the growing Left Wing of younger Americans would research and care a little more about the things they hear and not accept it as Truth until they have looked at the background on subjects and objectively formed their own opinions before accepting the things they hear and taking them on Faith alone.

Mohammed, what are you talking about, how can love Americans and call Bush a bigger terrorist than Saddam. How many people has Bush killed or ordered killed, not a single person. Bush did not send our troops to Iraq or Afganistan, the Congress did, Democrats and Republicans alike, whom were elected by Americans to sit in Congress. How many people has he killed in our Country, Zero. You cannot even put the Executions in Texas on him, because all of those people were found guilty by a Jury of their Peers, in a Court of Law and sentenced by them to DIE. Bush didn’t order their executions, their Fellow Americans did. Bush just denied Appeals and allowed the Jury’s verdict to be carried out. He would have been a poor Governor if he did not allow the Peoples Verdicts to be carried out! Your view and evidence supporting your view are lackluster and pretty poor to say the least!
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 2:10 pm
I don’t like you Mr.Bush. You are the bigger terrorist than Saddam Hussain. You are killing innocent Rraqi and also many innocent USA Army. Plzzz… stop this war…. I wish you will die very soon. I will pray for it.

The more I read and hear commentary on this issue—particularly from fellow Americans—the more I become convinced that those most vocal about supporting the execution of Hussein are the least knowledgable about the events preceeding it. To suggest that this trial and its aftermath is “justice” is to ignore both the basis for the trial and the parties benefitting from Hussein’s execution.
You have to go back to the events in 1980 surrounding the legislation passed by the Ba’thist Hussein regime outlawing the Islamic Da’wa Party to fully understand this issue. In summary, this party was outlawed for their role in assisting Iran in its efforts to undermine the authority of Hussein’s government during a time of tense diplomatic relations between these countries (a tension which culminated in the Iran-Iraq War (1980-1988).) Undermining the Ba’thist regime (or even the previous governments of Iraq, for that matter) was certainly not new to the Da’wa Party; they’d been organizing to do just that since their inception in the 1950’s.
The Da’wa Party (at the behest of Iran) attempted no less than four attempts at assasinating key Iraqi government officials (one on Tariq Aziz, two on Hussein and one on his son, Uday.) It was the attempts at Aziz (1980) and the first against Hussein in 1982 that led to the Dujail incident (1982) and trial (1984)—-the very incident upon which Hussein’s 2006 trial and execution was based. Those accused of affiliating with Da’wa were prosecuted at trial and eventually executed (46 or so died prior to trial, of course.) They were prosecuted as traitors, and suffered the penalties allowed under the law for wartime collusion with identified enemies of Iraq.
Does it impress any of the supporters of this action that the very organization (Da’wa) behind the 1982 Dujail incident is also behind the trial and execution of Hussein in 2006? And further that this same organization was suspected in the bombings of the American and French embassies in Kuwait? Those chants of “Muqtada” at Hussein’s execution are not coincidental, folks. When the present Iraqi Prime Minister is Da’wa, the presiding trial judge is a relative of Kurds gassed by Hussein’s government, and the investigative judge responsible for reviewing and approving the proof offered at Hussein’s trial is a Shia appointed by the CPA, the outcome of the trial and its consequence was not hard to predict.
I am afraid we have simply exchanged a devil we knew pretty well with ones we know but have little diplomatic influence or control over. Muqtada al-Sadr will become the new Hussein, and we will continue to flop back and forth over our role in destabilizing Iran (the real point of the “regime change” in Iraq.)
This incident will have political repercussions for the US for decades, and will unfortunately result in far more bloodshed than could have ever been anticipated. If we were as politically savvy as we pretend to be, we would have left Hussein in place and worked to strengthen his opposition to Iran. We had the opportunity to do that before pushing Iraq our of Kuwait in the 1990’s, but made the wrong call (yet again.) We simply don’t understand the Middle East (not even Saudi Arabia,) and have to become far more educated and sophisticated in our dealings in that part of the world.

Listen….
I am an American Soldier… I have put my money where my mouth is…. I also have a degree in Political Science with an emphasis in Foreign Policy and an Honors Degree in Preparation for Legal Study…
Most importantly, I am a human being who tries to do the right thing…
However, while I see that the “Market place of ideas” is full of customers in this blog, I see a reaccuring commonality between two sides of Americans whom I believe have the best interest of their country in mind while their opinions have been spilt on to this blog with passion and anger and a feeling of uncontentness that a large majority of Americans now feel…
One side believes that the so called Radical Right wing of this country has enabled President Bush to invade another country preemptively without due cause…and the other side believes that there are many justifications for preemptively striking what they see as a threat to the National Security of Americans…
I have comments for both sides… If you feel that there is a problem with the way that the so-called “War on Terrorism” is going, then vote… I would really like to know how many of the people who have made comments in this blog vote… Chances are that there are probably around 30% of those of us who have commented whom actually show up and vote…
I understand that some of us are upset with the slant of certain media outlets… CNN vs. Fox News vs. MSNBC… Ofcourse we are going to be upset with the onset of biased media… However, Fox is just as biased as CNN or MSNBC… To suggest otherwise is ludicrous… Ultimately freedom of the press, no matter how it is spun in the opinion of one side or the other, is one of the Civil Liberties that I have put my arm to the square and vowed to defend…. In my opinion, blaming the current sentiment of the American public on the so-called “Liberal Media,” is irresponsible and suggests that Americans are incapable of thinking for themselves and somehow the First Amendment has failed us…
On the other hand… the Americans and others around the world who are critical of the President and his policies are using another God given Civil Liberty that no man or Government can give nor take away… The bottom line here is that the majority of Americans are fedup with the current policy, while 31% still support the President’s policies…
The so-called wacko “Left wing liberals” are the large majority of Americans… So I say to you so-called “Radical right wing nutjobs,” come up with a better reason as to why the majority of Americans and the majority of the world for that matter are fedup… It is not because of the Libral media that I am sick of my comrades dying… It is not because of the Libral media that I am sick of hate festering around the world… What causes me to be fed up… is that the only answer to dealing with our current problem is to bulk up our Armed Forces…
It has been nearly four years folks and that is the “wrong dog gone answer.” We are failing and are so stretched thin… I think it’s about time that the President listen to the recommendations of the people who thing beyond a military solution… you can talk to the commanders on the ground until you are blue in the face… but they will not think beyond the capabilities of the Armed Forces… it’s not their job to… Therefore, let us respect the opinion of past Presidents like (R) Ford… and (D) Carter who have let us know that three current course will not lead us to success in Iraq…
The public spoke in November and we will speak again in 08′… make no mistake about that and when that time comes…. I hope you will vote! For whomever you think will “heal our nation.” Because folks… let’s be honest with ourselves, we are in desperate need of healing… I just hope is comes before 2008 & 09.
I wish you all and us all the best in the New Year and always!
Happy New Year!
Jimmy

“I just wish that the growing Left Wing of younger Americans would research and care a little more about the things they hear and not accept it as Truth until they have looked at the background on subjects and objectively formed their own opinions before accepting the things they hear and taking them on Faith alone.”
I wish the government would have done that about Iraq,…..wait we did get intel stating that there was NO reason to invade, I guess somebody just ignored it. Maybe my brother would still be here if somebody would have used their head in DC. Maybe that is the problem with the left, we do listen and research and don’t just blindly follow our “elected” leaders. Questioning authority is what made this country what it is today.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 3:10 pm
I also thing that the right wing is getting very desperate in blaming the current majority opinion on the media… As President Bush said in defending his own policies, “You voted for it…so deal with it..” The country is going to vote his policies and anyone who thinks like him out… deal with it!!!
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 3:14 pm
To the “right wing nutjobs” it’s amazing that you continue to comment about how you are so pro- war and winning and invading and continuing the same policy with other countries like Iran and No. Korea, but you are supposedely more Christian….
Contradiction anybody?
Get a clue…
Pat and Jimmy, I’m with you! We need a change in this country and it’s coming soon!
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 3:17 pm
Fuck you all americans. Americans never respect other lives on this earth. Countless killings in iraq, Afghan, vietnam, japan, etc. Oneday the world will turn against america.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 3:19 pm
As a military wife and a proud American, I’m ashamed of all the horrible remarks made inthe media. The voices of those who think it’s funny to belittle our country, our government and our president…let me just ask this…someone tell us how to leave Iraq? Everyone can sit and spew their mouths at what our government is doing wrong, but no one has any better ideas! Our country does not get involved in every country’s issues…How about Rwanda? Wasn’t that country in need of assistance during Clinton’s adminstration? But we didn’t go and when we don’t interfere, everyone says “Where’s America now?”…Face it, America is a GREAT AND POWERFUL country and when you are on top (even if not perfect) everyone wants to see you fall. Are we going to tear ourselves down or become stronger? It seems as though we are falling fast.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 3:22 pm
Here in the U.K. we have a government that denied the right to life and human rights of young men sent to Iraq and blown to bits or shot dead Yet this same bunch of hypocrits is concerned over the welfare of pieces of excrement like Saddam Hussain. In my view we should empty the prisons of cold blooded killers, child molestors and the like and stop wasting tax-payers money keeping them alive. The majority of British rax-payers want the death penalty back for terrorists and premedidated murderers.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 3:29 pm
Although I respect pres gw… his decisions while in office are not representative of the entire country’s opinion as to what should have taken place internationally…furthermore the fact that people are so derogatory towards the current pres bush and his foreign policy is proof enough that the atrocity that occurred during the 1st and 2nd election for pres. is not acceptable….a re vote was in order… it seems that he took his position as opposed to winning it thru the election…. attacking what he has done since he has been in office is not by any means anti american…a key freedom americans enjoy is right of free speech whether it be for or against the elected leader but the problem is bush was not elected but selected….it is too late to complain about the gears he has set in motion… it is key now to make sure that his policy and ideals arent continued thru the following presidential terms…….vote or die
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 3:35 pm
To the literate Texan:
I say, Power Corrpts and the Bush Administration’s abuse of power has corrupted absolutely… It is our God given right to question the policy our our government…it’s called checks and balances…it’s in the constitution…you might want to read it…
How do we leave Iraq? Well, we put one foot in front of the other….the same way that we left Vietnam!
Do not criticize those who question for questioning…our founding fathers questioned their government did they not?
I am a proud American and I am proud of those who do question!!!

Another NOB (North of the Boarder) wanting to get into this interesting conversation.
I am, as a Canadian, struck by the divisiveness that exists in the U.S. Liberals vs. Conservatives - Republicans vs. Democrats.
In the words of Rodney King, “can’t you all (we) just get along”?
The war in Iraq was, in my opinion, not necessarily wrong. What was “wrong” about the war was the premise that the U.S. (Bush) and Britain (Blair) gave for going to war. The WOMD angle was a farce and demonstrated the poor quality of both American and British intelligence reports.
I would really recommend a great read to everyone (yeah, I know, I’ll be accused of recommending a “liberal” author)…the book is called Imperial Life in the Emerald City: Inside Iraq’s Green Zone
by Rajiv Chandrasekaran
It is a fascinating read and really speaks to the mismanagement and poor infrastructure in post-war Iraq.
I know I am ranting here and a bit (well, maybe more than a bit) disjointed but, what I never hear from Republican supports is any acknowledgment that Bush and his cronies F***ED up. It’s as if everything they did with respect to foreign and/or domestic policy has been wonderful. “There ain’t no flies on us” says Mr. Bush.
Have people forgotten about Louisiana and the lack of a Federal goverment response to years of infrastructure decay? Yes, indeed, go to Iraq, Iran, North Korea and anywhere else your Govt believes there are “strategic interests” but let America fall to pieces.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 4:18 pm
These are the kind of news reports you get when you watch a liberal news outlet. They only show the things that they think will furthur their cause. In this case, to get our people out of Iraq. I have seen a number of videos showing our soldiers helping and playing with Iraqi children. But you wont see that on cnn. It won’t make us mad and want to get our people out of there.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 4:21 pm
HMMMM Bush was elected by a majority of US citizens!? WTF History book have you been reading numbskull, he was elected by cheating, he has no mandate, and he has made your country and mine more hated the we could ever believe possible.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 4:27 pm
I have gone through alot of these comments and it really pisses me off. All of you that bitch and complain about Bush being the bad person and how he should die-if you dont like our free country then fucking leave. Why dont you move to Iraq and see how it really is over there. My husband is over there fighting for your freedom that you obviously take for granted. Its really sad cause Im sure if the war came over here you wouldnt be so quick to open your mouths. I have lost many friends to this was and no I am not in total support of it especially since my husband has been over there three times now, but I also am not going to be a total bigot and go against the country I live in. Yes Bush has messed up in a lot of ways but we voted him as our President. Also we did not sentence Saddam the Iraq courts did. We just held him in our facilities. And also I agree with a lot of people on here who do have their facts straight but a lot of you need to shut up or learn your facts before you go bashing your President, cause if you lived Iraq and did that you would probably be the one executed.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 4:27 pm
This question has always bothered me, why is it “bad” and “depraved” to view porno and ok to watch someone getting executed? Some of the images seen on nightly news and internet feeds is horrible and I really have to question a society that is ashamed of sex and fascinated with killing, torture and death.
I am sure we in the US don’t have a monopoly on this morbid fascination with death but at least other societies around the world have a healthier view of sex.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 4:31 pm
Kevin…
Its not the media that makes people believe things… Otherwise you only think the way you do because of Fox News… Wake up… Stop blaming it on the media… Come up with a better excuse of why you are in the minority!
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 4:33 pm
Leah,
Who do you agree with and why?
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 4:39 pm
These idiots that run this “supposed” news media outfit should be ashamed and step down. It drives me crazy that these same executives making these calls continue to “censor” news according to their agenda. Whatever happened to free press??
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 4:39 pm
…and Leah,
We don’t live in Iraq… It has only seemed like it for the last four years…
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 4:45 pm
one more thing Leah…
Criticizing a person or an administration is not, as you said “going against our country.” Read the First Amendment “Congress shall make no law… abridging the freedom of speach, [or (to stop)] the right of the people peacably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievences.”
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 4:52 pm
To Canuck: Think about it you stupid, ignorant Canadian, if it weren’t for us in The United States of America, your country would be a Soviet Union underground nuclear test site. It seems that you have no hindsite or foresite. Do you like opression? Go to Iraq or Iran or North Korea, see how you like it then. Should we just wait until Iran or North Korea blow the hell out of us and Canada? If we go down, Canada goes down, PERIOD!
I didn’t vote for Bush but I supported him in the war. It had to be done. Our country had absolute proof that Saddam was making weapons of mass destruction. Do you think that after killing his own people with nerve gas and the like that he disposed of all the weapons voluntarily? Of course not. He had plenty of time when the pressure was on to hide them or move them to another country before the war.
Finally, put yourself in the place of the countrymen he killed. Imagine their fear. Imagine the people that managed to live through these genocides with arms or legs blown off. Feel their pain as blood gushed out of them. Many of them trusted Saddam.
I believe you also only have one leg because the other one is up your butt.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 4:53 pm
Jimmy
No, trust me you think you know what goes on over there and you have no clue. They show you nothing on tv and the internet. My husband has been living it since September and before that he was over there two other times for 7 months apiece. Our country is a wonderful place to live, I know our President isnt that great but its not really his fault-he does what he is told by the ones in the UN and areas of the governtment. I just think that all these people who bash the soldiers and the goverment should have to go experience it over there. Maybe they wouldnt call our soldiers shitty, they would be scared so much they would beg to come back to america. You asked who I agreed with on here and I agree with some of the things you say, but not everything. Getting out of Iraq is not as easy as people think. Yeah it would be great cause then my husband would be here and safe again, but then what if the war comes over here. I dont know its just really sad that alot of people on here like humandbeing and Goofy bash the troops and americans but yet they live in america. But that is the beauty of america, you have the right to speak your mind and know you will not be killed for it.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 4:58 pm
Leah,
I am a Soldier as well.. I know what it is like over there… But I would just say that I think that you should differenciate between comments that criticize Pres. Bush and the troops… I have not felt offended by anything that has been said on this blog with regards to the President and I don’t think that you should either…
I feel for you… I know what it is like to be away from my family… There is a deep rotting feeling in my stomach everytime I have been deployed… I just don’t think that we are making any progress… not because of the inability of me and other troops, but because we have no clear mission and it is dragging on…
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 5:13 pm
KEVIN WALKER, your an idiot and probably sitting on your couch jerkin-off watching a football game under your Elmo blanket.
US soldiers are in 100+ degree weather with sand in there socks trying to not get mutilated off or worse— killed. LITERATE TEXAN, don’t be stupid. How do we get out of IRAQ, the same way we there …airplanes and ships. Its a lost cause! Let’s cut the crap and keep it real! We ALL know those soldiers that died in this war, LOST (not gave) their lives in VAIN. Based on the orders of a ignorant unattached Texan. Of course some the families and loved ones will try to find some justification for their loss, “I’m proud of him or her”…”They were doing what they believed”….”They were defending our country”…BS. Those that lost their lives won’t see their daughters in their first ballet class, their sons try to hit a baseball, their sister get married, kiss their mom on the cheek and say happy mother’s day or drink a beer with their fathers. ITS OVER FOR THEM!! They are gone and their voices will never be heard again on this Earth except through a recording. And as long as we support this war in the name of patriotism or the spread of democracy, it will continue to end for a lot more of them.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 5:20 pm
That’s the unfortunate truth of it all. I’d prefer we defend this country from real threats like North Korea, immigration, terrorism and global warming. Can you imagine if we used all the money we’ve spent or have allocated for IRAQ to concur terrorists groups and improve our borders how much safer we would be!?
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 5:21 pm
Amen Adam…
Amen and Amen…
My wife is pregnant and I will probably be in Iraq when my son is born and for the 1st year of his life…
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 5:21 pm
Its true that Saddam did bad things. He deserved the punishment. Now its time for fucking Bush to be hanged (and that should be on chirstmas day) for his killings in afganisthan and iraq.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 5:28 pm
Bush, God forgive me, is the terrorist. This is a sad time. Sure Saddam is evil, but to be so arrogant to think that US government can justify the innocent lives for one evil dictator. Only to make things worse for our own country. He had brought EVIL and what will come, will be his GWB fault. Many more innocents will die, and America is shamed by the King of USA.
He needs to be hung, he is against all US laws and international laws and morals. God bless us. America, oh beautiful, is now foreign to me. I am so sad. I am helpless. We are under influence of an evil dictator. So, we will have the consequences of more innocence killed, against our wishes and wills.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 5:36 pm
Well That video sucked i was so hoping he would be beheaded…Guess that wont be happening…you know what every anti-Bush moron here can do…shove it up your asses saddam deserved worse…and as for all you damn muslims out there or whatever you piss skins are…America has always been a superpower dont get full of yourselves just yet…lets see you turn against us…that”ll be one more country full of piss stains we can wipe away…
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 5:37 pm
I think all the partisanship is getting ridiculous. all of these politicians are off their rockers… the dems talk shit but make no ideas no, just like the republicans did in the clinton years. if you ask me (and i know i’ll take heat for this), blame reagan and nixon for the shape we are in today, the made stubborness and failing to listen to the american people “cool”. so conservatives, don’t blame clinton for where we are, and liberals, don’t blame bush for where we are. i don’t think either of them were particularly terriffic, but they are just following their belief system. you blame clinton for 9/11, well he stripped the cia because his side of the aisle believes in non-human spying, not because he wanted to al-qaeda a free pass. and you blame bush for afghanistan and iraq… well his side of the aisle is from the school of reaganism, and peace through strength.
as a side note (ironically the point of this article in the first place): i was not a supporter of this war, and still am not, but i think its great to see a brutal dictator hanged by his own people… if only the american government could learn to help causes like these without full scale military invasions.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 5:40 pm
It is not weak too value life…but think of the upset the arab nations have been casing us for years…i say we wipe em all and it will be the end..but i really dont care about others opinions…so write back i could care less all i know is we made an example out of saddam….maybe the idiot arabs will stop strapping bombs too themselves..it takes about 1 percent of brain power too run into a building and blow yourself up…lol….thats why the arabs will never be an america
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 5:42 pm
So you can honestly tell me that you are not offended by the person that said “his shitty ass soldiers” and you are a soldier? And yes we actually we do have a misson right now, we are training their troops to protect their own people. We are trying to help them set up goverment in their country. If you are a soldier truly then you would be against alot of things on here. People are so against Saddam being hung on here and saying that Bush has killed Americans. Your arguement should be that Saddam killed way more than what he was charged for. He used to take women and have them beat, raped, tortued and killed in front of their husbands and families. He used to take babies and have them stung repeatedly by scorpians. He was a horrible person and Iraq needed to be rid of him. Yes the war was started on some false info but in the end Iraq has been made a better country because of america. And the people that say comments on how we steal their oil-no actually we started a oil for food program with Iraq and most of the oil you supposedly think we need from Iraq we are actually gettingfrom Iran. And when were you in Iraq?
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 5:43 pm
and for all Americans on here blaming Bush and saying he should be hanged for killing too…got news for you morons i guess you think all your relatives that are in the army…and might i add are the ones doing the killings…i guess they should be hanged for volunteraliy signing themselves up too kill iraqis…Bush kills no one he sits in an office….your brothers sisters aunts uncles cousins nephews nieces do the killing…so shut up unless you support the hanging of the actual killers.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 5:48 pm
There were no terrorists in IRAQ before the US led invasion, just as there were no weapons of mass destruction. The current predicament faced by the US was inevitable, and the US government must be accountable for the action it has taken. The motivation for war was never about terrorism, it was about revenge and oil, and now it’s about excuses. The solution to the IRAQ problem is simple, give the jihadists what they have always wanted, get all westerners out of Saudi Arabia. Once all westerners are out of Saudi Arabia 90% of the Middle East problem will be solved, and US forces can be pulled out of IRAQ. The Saudi oil industry will of course collapse without western help but it will be worth the price. It certainly isn’t worth the sacrifice of another 3000 US military servicemen.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 5:53 pm
Please catch that Osama as well..
Everybody seems to ignore/forget the true enemy. OK..you won the game..got your oil..now go to the real war on terror.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 5:53 pm

sorry I sent a few extra on accident. my computer messed up
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 5:55 pm
Saddam’s trial was a Joke. If the US was at all serious about finding any sort of truth into the allegations that Saddam committed crimes against Humanity they would have tried him in the Haig.
But unfortunately for Saddam and the rest of the world th US had no interest in seeking truth or Justice. Saddam dead means he can never reveal the deals he made with Donald Rumsfeld the CIA or any other US Jackal.
George Bush, Dick Chenney and all those who brought the US into the war with Iraq have a lot to answer for. They have managed to destroy law and order in Iraq, turn it into a civil war and make a mockery out of the Statue of Liberty.
The US is on the Brink of Disaster. The economy is based on people spending money money that they don’t have. The US Military is over extended to a point that it would be difficult for it to defend a real threat to its Borders. And War Criminals stand in office as the President and vice president of the country.
REMEMBER ROME FELL Niro fiddled as Rome burned and so History perhaps repeats itself.

At the end of the day though, it’s certainly a great advert for the ‘freedom and democracy’ that Bush and Blair (please don’t forget our dear Prime Minister) promised to bring to Iraq isn’t it?
Grainy footage of a chanting mob of hooded fanatics stringing up an old man, in what appears to be an abandoned garage?

Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 6:10 pm
bush, the mother fucker. god will not leave him. he is the one , responsible for saddams death and all those american soldiers and afghanistanis death. bush is a sathan, who wants to rule the world . by killing american soldiers
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 6:15 pm
It’s pretty hard to understand the thinking behind this. Were they actually trying to make Saddam into a martyr. If so, what purpose is that meant to serve? If not, they are obvious incompetents.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 6:18 pm
And the troops are not murderers. They are in a war zone, they are following orders, and not every soldier or marine kills during their time over there. And Im sure if you were put in Iraq you would kill if it meant your own life. and my husband did not join the military to kill Iraqi’s he signed up so he could have a better life for his family and he ended up being sent over there 3 times. Like I said before, if the war was over here you wouldnt be going against our troops and calling them killers. They are letting you sleep safe in your bed at night.

Blogging is gay… It’s run by all those librals who control the media… lol
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 6:20 pm
Leah,
I think you are full of shit.. and that you just want to argue!!!
I’m out…
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 6:24 pm
Are they though? I mean I understand that the troops over there, by and large, are trying to do the right thing, but is there very presence actually helping or making things worse? It’s not at all obvious to me that there being there makes anybody safer. Which is why Jimmy’s evident frustration at the situation over there makes more sense to me than anything you say Leah.
6 out of 10 Iraqis support attacks on US troops and 7 out of 10 want them gone within a year.

That really isn’t a good sign you know.

LEAH!! The oil for food program?? What the hell? So I guess that conversation went like this, “Hey, I see your people starving! I tell you what, give us some that oil (so we can continue to milk our own countrymen dry) and will give you some food so your people won’t continue to STARVE! That’s very American!
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 6:35 pm
You people are so stupid. Bush bombed the world trade center. it was a controlled demolition. Those powerful steel reinforced structures didnt fall coz of burning airplane fuel. There are so much video documentaries and irrefutable scientific evidence to prove this. He instilled fear and chaos in the population, then proceeded to create order: HIS ORDER.
As long as the US population is under FEAR, bush can do whatever he wants without opposition. He sacrificed those WTC victims to gain unrestricted and unopposed power to invade the east and destroy nations for OIL and sick greed. You americans point fingers at the east and blame them for terrorism. Look in your own back yard. The US Government is responsible for the most mass murder and extreme terrorism in the past 200 years.

Dumb Ass bush must be very satisfy after hanging Saddam insted of Osama. I think he is just trying to fool Americans by giving us this bogus trophy.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 6:37 pm
GORILLA, dont be foolish! or leave the crack alone!
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 6:37 pm
Well, I didnt think I would offend you so bad. What I say should not effect if you dont let it. AND Goofy says at 12:52 pm-read it. He says “his shitty ass soldiers” refering to the americans. READ IT
And yes you are over there fighting, But I stay home and raise our children and give him something to fight for. As I am sure you are fighting for your family.
And I didnt tell you what to “fucking think” all I said if you chilled out and read it instead of getting all pissed off was- I said if you were a soldier truly not truly a soldier-two different things you just misunderstood what I wrote i guess I should have put the comma. I never said I disbelieved that you were a soldier and I never told you what to think you again read my blog wrong. I said you -should be- not that you -have to be-. Before you go ranting and raving read the comment . So dont go saying my husband in not in the military just cause you THINK I told you that-which I did not. My husband is in the United States Marine Corps, and I am just as much a part of it as he is.

Gorilla must be a dumb Paki
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 6:44 pm
And yes the oil for food programn in Iraq is real-look it up. I know what Im saying.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 6:49 pm
LEAH, Love you are missing my point! I believe that program is real. Its the inhumanity involved that I tried to point out. We’ll give you food (to live) if you give us oil(to fuel my ChevyS10 to the tailgate party)…that’s f@c!ed up!!
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 6:54 pm
Leah,
Goofy is a self-proclaimed arab! Why would I be offended… I get it… he’s part of the Libral Media who is influencing public opinion…. You are willing to argue with me over your own opinions, but you won’t accept the fact that there is no progress being made and that most of the Muslums can not differentiate between a seperation of church and state.. Democracy will not survive in Iraq… Let me know when it does… We have been in Iraq longer than we were involved in WWII…
By the way, Iraq was no threat to us… So believing that Iraqis will bring the fight to the North American Continent is proposterous! There are many reports that there was no connection between Al Queida and Iraq… We get spoonfed a new reason as to why we are there daily! So what’s the next reason why we should be there and not spending our time and abilities where the real threats are?
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 7:01 pm
Explain to me how typing up what you’re pissed off about and posting it online is homosexual in any way, Jimmy. And I don’t think Maddox ( http://maddox.xmission.com/ ) is a liberal who controls the media.
Anyway, I go to BBC for my news; CNN sucks.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 7:03 pm
Alright, Im not rying to argue with anyone. REALLY!! and sorry adam i am just a little upset that people think I am trying to argue when really Im not. I do know the facts Im saying and when I typed Iraq is a better county I meant to say we are helping them be a better country, and not everyone in Iraq wants us there I understand that also. Everyone thinks Im this Bitch who knows everything-no I am not. I just wanted to say what was on my mind and Jimmy got all offended because he read it wrong. Sorry to piss whoever off-that was not my objective. And adam again Im sorry cause I did not read your comment the right way-see its me to. I got all pissy and thought you were trying to say I didnt know-sorry :)
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 7:06 pm
Leah, trying isn’t good enough when you’re failing and seen by a majority of Iraqis as the source of the problem. When sixty odd percent of the population supports attacks on US troops, it’s no longer possible to credibly claim that you’re there for their benefit. Even if that’s what you may personally think you’re there for, they obviously don’t believe it and want you gone asap.
Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 7:09 pm
It’s all good Leah…
and
Smith… I was being facisious about the millions of right wingers who claim that the “Liberal Media” controls the world… I agree with you! lol
